Running away from her hometown Camden, New Jersey, Nalonda “Nonnie” Dupree just wanted to get her head, and her life together. The man she believed was the love of her life Bakari Roberts had turned out to be just another disappointment in a long string of them. But after spending some time alone in Baltimore Maryland, Nonnie was ready to return to Jersey and pursue her dreams. Those dreams didn’t include love… until she met Asaad Banks.
 
From the outside, Asaad “AB” Banks had it all. His successful construction business was thriving, and his love life seemed bright. All he wanted to do was love on his fiancé Brynne and have children. In the midst of reaching her new found life and business goals, Nonnie finds a friend in Asaad. Yet, before feelings get a chance to grow, things become complicated when Assad’s fiancée, Brynne, finds out who the infamous Nonnie is. Infidelity causes a strain in Assad and Brynne’s relationship. Assad finds himself becoming more and more distant until there’s a new baby involved. Now faced with the dilemma of raising his alleged child in a broken family, he’s torn between the two women. While trying to figure out his decision, it gets easier once his feelings for Nonnie start to evolve.
 
All of a sudden, Bakari has a change of heart. When the reality that all the women in his life have had enough hits him, he decides it’s time for a change. Is it too late?
